Our Renal Center provides services in the following areas:
Endourological Services
We offer laparoscopic (key-hole) and knifeless surgeries for patients with urinary stones, kidney stones, ureteric stones, bladder cancers, urethral strictures, and ureteral stricture and problems pertaining to the prostate.
Laparoscopic Urology
Most urological cancers can now be removed and most reconstructive urological procedures can now be done through laparoscopy enabling a shorter hospital stay, less pain and minimal scarring.
Uro-Oncology
The renal center at Apollo Bramwell is committed to providing the best minimally invasive onco-surgical services including laparoscopic radical nephrectomy (removal of a kidney by key-hole surgery), laparoscopic partial nephrectomy (key-hole removal of only the tumor containing part of kidney), TURBT (knifeless removal of bladder cancers using endoscopic technique) and laparoscopic adrenalectomy (removal of adrenal tumors through key-hole surgery). The center also provides the service of radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer.
Urodynamic Services
We have an ultramodern urodynamic suite. It offers a diagnostic solution for neurogenic bladder or other lower urinary tract functional disorders. Kidney Transplantation with a Difference The renal center offers kidney transplants to patients with kidney failure. We offer laparoscopic donor nephrectomy (retrieval of kidney from the donor through key-hole surgery) to minimize the hospital stay, postoperative pain and a quick return to work after donation of a kidney.
Nephrology and Dialysis
The Dialysis Suite is equipped with a state of art infrastructure, modern technology and expertise. We offer hemodialysis, renal biopsy and many other nephrology services to aid in the management of acute and chronic renal disease.
Pediatric Uro-Nephrology
We offer minimally invasive surgical solutions for congenital anomalies like laparoscopic pyeloplasty, cystoscopic reflux therapy and laparoscopic pediatric uro-onco-surgery. We also offer dialysis facilities and kidney transplants for our pediatric patients. |
